Since Homelessness is a major action area for LWVBC, we're going to be adding a page on the Website providing links to important information. We'll let you know as soon as this page is up and running. In the meantime, there is an opportunity to become involved on September 12th. Our annual Holiday Potluck and review of state league positions will be held on Saturday, December 8th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the home of Henrietta Mosley. Those whose last name begins with the initial A-L should bring a hot dish, those whose last name begins with the initial M-Z should bring a salad. More details are on the Calendar page!

LWV Beach Cities is starting a Book Club to read and discuss books of interest to League members. The first meeting will be on Thursday, January 31st from 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm at St. Cross Episcopal Church in Hermosa Beach. The book to be read is "Evicted" by Matthew Desmond. More details are on the Calendar page, as are remaining 2019 dates (books to be selected later).
